Install

Three steps. No Terminal.

From download to a surveyed disk in about the time this page takes to read.

1

Download Nusa.app

Signed, self-contained, and Apple Silicon only. Everything it needs ships inside.

2

Drag it to Applications

It bundles its own engine. No Homebrew, no taps, no package manager to babysit.

3

Then there is nothing else

No command to paste. This is the entire ritual, which is the point.

The tools

What it does, quietly.

Three jobs, no dashboards to learn.

Survey

A sunburst disk explorer. Drill in, stage folders, and watch the rings show where the weight lives.

Clean

Preview first, then Clean now. The preview is a real dry run, color-classified so you can see exactly what would move.

Malware scan

Optional ClamAV, on demand, completely offline. Never a real-time daemon watching your every file open.

Real screens

No mockups. This is the app.

Captured from a live build on an ordinary Mac.

Nusa Status page: a health ring reading 83 Good beside a This Mac panel, with tiles for CPU, memory and disk use.

Nusa Clean page: a preview summary hero with 1.09 GB of potential space and a Clean now action.

Survey

The map is drawn from your own disk.

In the app, every ring is real usage, measured on your Mac. Three findings surface as the contour closes.

Illustrative figures, not a benchmark. Your disk will have its own opinions.

Nothing leaves without a signature.

Cleanup runs entirely offline. Only explicit signature checks touch the network, and only when you ask for them.

Comparison

The honest chart.

Four Mac cleaners, public list prices, nothing cherry-picked. AppCleaner is free and genuinely good. Here is where each one stands.

List prices as researched in early 2026 from vendor pages; they move, so treat the vendor site as the source of truth. Nusa's cleanup engine is bundled Mole (GPL-3.0) with its full source in the app; the explorer code is Petal-derived (MIT).

Alpha
